Hospice Care

Hospice is care and support for terminally ill people and their loved ones. The Hospice philosophy encourages the continuation of a meaningful life in the presence of a life-limiting illness. Hospice neither prolongs life nor hastens death; hospice staff assist in minimizing pain, offering comfort and helping patients maintain their dignity.

Crozer Health ’s Hospice staff offer physical, spiritual and emotional support for patients in both hospital and in-home settings. Hospice care can be provided in your home, in an assisted living or personal care home, in a nursing home or in our inpatient Hospice Residence located at Taylor Hospital.
