Crozer Health Physician Chooses Crozer-Chester Medical Center for Excellent Labor and Delivery Care
Candace Nguyen, MD has been a Crozer Health physician since 2018, working at Milmont Family Practice in Folsom, PA During that time, she chose to have her three children delivered at Crozer-Chester Medical Center and had a wonderful experience each time.
Former Crozer Health OBGYN Swathi Vanguri, MD delivered Dr. Nguyen’s first child, Elise (now age 4). Steven Troy, DO, delivered her next two children – Benjamin (age 2) and Alexander (age 3 months).Dr. Nguyen has nothing but positive things to say about her experience and her entire care team.
“The nursing staff was caring, knowledgeable, and compassionate, and the physicians were competent and maintained excellent communication,” said Dr. Nguyen. “Every staff member who came in the room cared about my experience. They took time to explain what they were doing and answer all my questions. They were clearly invested in their work.”
Colin Turney, MD, Crozer Health primary care physician and Dr. Nguyen’s husband, appreciated the care his wife received.
“Labor and delivery is an exciting, but also stressful, experience,” he said. “I was impressed with the attentiveness, care, and compassion the doctors, nurses, and staff gave my wife when our children were being born. I'm happy to say they treated her the way I would treat my own patients. I would absolutely recommend anybody deliver their baby at Crozer-Chester Medical Center!”
Dr. Nguyen also highly recommends Crozer-Chester Medical Center for labor and delivery care.
“From the moment I set foot on the labor and delivery unit, the staff was attentive and caring. My questions were answered and needs were attended to timely and compassionately,” she said. “Even though childbirth can be a scary and painful process, the staff was understanding and went the extra mile to make sure I was informed and comfortable with the process. Every employee involved in my stay, from the physicians and residents to the nurses to the support staff, made sure to explain their role, take their time, and be sure I was comfortable with the tasks they were assigned to perform. I was treated the way I would treat my own patients, and the way I would want a family member treated.”
