Crozer Healthwelcomes visitors and provides you with the following information concerning locations, transportation information, visiting hours, hospital services and visitor policies.

Parking Information

  • Parking is free at Taylor Hospital and Community Hospital.

    Hospital parking fees for Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Delaware County Memorial Hospital and Springfield Hospital follow are as follows:

    All Day Passes

    All Day Passes permit visitors to exit and return to the garage up to five times over the course of a day at no extra charge. These passes are available for visitors at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Delaware County Memorial Hospital and Springfield Hospital.

    All Day Passes can be purchased at the exit booth for all hospital parking garages. Passes can also be purchased from the valet booth at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, located in between the Professional Office Building (POB) and the Crozer Regional Cancer Center.

  • Parking Garage II

    • Located on Seminary Avenue past the Old Main building
    • Open daily for self-parking, 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

    Upland Avenue Garage

    • Located near the Emergency Department and Bertram Speare Outpatient Pavilion. It can be accessed by turning onto East Drive from Upland Avenue.
    • Open daily, 24-hours-a-day, for self-parking. This garage is recommended for patients coming to Outpatient Registration and all outpatient services, such as the Emergency Department and Radiology.

    Valet Parking

    • Valet parking is solely available near the Professional Office Buildings and Crozer Regional Cancer Center.
    • Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
    • No valet service is offered on weekends and holidays.
    • There is no additional charge for valet service, and tipping is not expected.
    • If you are exiting after hours, contact Security at 610-447-2888.
    • The hospital parking garage can be accessed from the right.
    • Valet service is also available.
    • Springfield Hospital parking is available in the parking garage adjacent to the hospital.
    • Visitor parking is available at the Morton Avenue visitors' parking lot. The lot is at the top of the hill on your right.
    • Parking is free.

Dining Options

  • The Atrium

    Visitors to The Atrium can enjoy a menu that includes a deli bar, salad bar, smoothie bar, grab & go items, soup and a hot entrée. The Atrium is located on the first floor near the main lobby.

    Weekday Hours:

    • Lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
    • Grab & Go from 2 to 6:30 p.m.

    The Cafeteria

    Our cafeteria, located on the ground floor near the South elevators, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Includes hot meal options, sandwiches, soups and salad bar.

    Weekday Hours:

    • Breakfast - 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
    • Continental breakfast - 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
    • Lunch and dinner:  11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

    Holiday and Weekend Hours:

    • 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • DCMH's cafeteria is located on the first floor of the hospital. The cafeteria is available for all employees, visitors, and family members.

    Monday - Friday:
    Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. -10:00 a.m.
    Morning Break: 10:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m.
    Lunch:11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

    Weekends:
    Continental breakfast: 8:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m.
    Lunch: 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

    Closed Holidays

  • Café Carl

    Visitors are invited to enjoy a cup of coffee or a variety of hot and cold meal selections at Cafe Carl, which is located in the Healthplex Pavilion I corridor.

    Weekday Hours:
    Monday - Friday: 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

    Closed weekends

  • Taylor's cafeteria is located on the first floor, down the hallway from the main lobby. The cafeteria is open to visitors as well as employees. Patients are not permitted to purchase food from the cafeteria.

    Monday - Friday:
    Breakfast: 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
    Lunch: 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Visiting Hours

  • While we realize that spending time with family and friends can be an enjoyable part of your day, your speedy recovery is our primary concern. Visiting hours vary from unit to unit. If a family member's visiting time cannot be accommodated during these hours, please discuss your special needs with your nurse or patient representative, 610-447-6317.

    Visiting hours vary from unit to unit:

    • Burn Treatment Center: 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.; 4 to 6 p.m.; 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. (immediate family only)
    • Labor and Delivery: Support person only
    • Acute Care of Elders (ACE) Unit, Medical/Surgical Units and the Pediatric Unit: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
    • Maternity Unit: 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., father and support person; 4 to 8 p.m. general visitation; children under the age of 16 permitted to visit must be siblings of newborn and they can visit 4 to 8 p.m.
    • Intensive Care Unit (rooms 4000 to 4015): 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.; 4 to 6 p.m.; 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. (immediate family only)
    • Shock Trauma Unit (rooms 4601 to 4608): 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.; 4 to 6 p.m.; 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. (immediate family only)

    Please note that visiting is limited to two visitors per patient at a time. Additional restrictions may be placed during flue season. Visitors must follow infection control procedures.

    Medical/Surgical Units (3 East, 5 East, 5 Tower, 5 West)

    Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

    3 to 8:30 p.m.

    Maternal/Child Health

    Critical Care (CICU, PCU)

    8 a.m to 9 p.m.*

    *The CICU practices patient centered visitation. We encourage daytime visiting hours to promote rest at night, but understand that other visiting times may be needed. Please contact the nursing staff to form a personalized visiting plan. There may be times when we will need to limit visitation due to emergencies, procedures, etc. We ask for your patience during these times. We will allow you to visit as soon as possible. If you plan to visit your loved one after 9PM or before 8AM please let the nurse know.

    Please Note: Two visitors permitted in room at a time. All visitors must be at least 14 years old.

    Intensive Care Unit/Cardiac Care Unit

    10 to 11 a.m.; 1 to 2 p.m.; 5 to 6 p.m.; 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

    Please Note: Two visitors are permitted in the ICU and CCU at a time. Only immediate family members are permitted to visit patients in the ICU and CCU.

Gift Shops

  • The Crozer Corner gift shop is located on the first floor in the main lobby of the medical center.

    At Crozer Corner, you can purchase everything from fashion purses, scarves and jewelry to seasonal items and event gourmet food! In addition, the gift shop offers books, magazines, newspapers, candy, greeting cards, flowers, personal items and candy. With your purchase, we will be happy to gift-wrap your item(s) for you in an attractive gift bag.

    Upon request, items can be delivered to patient rooms.

    It is hospital policy that only those patients who are escorted by a staff person are permitted in Crozer Corner. We invite all other patients to shop by telephone. 

    Crozer Corner accepts personal checks with proper identification, plus Visa and MasterCard. We also offer gift certificates and a layaway plan.

    The Gift Shop has books, magazines, newspapers, candy, cards, flowers, telephone cards, and gift and personal items for sale to employees, visitors and patients.

    However, according to policy, only patients escorted by a staff person are permitted in the Gift Shop. We invite all other patients to shop by phone. Please call the Gift Shop at extension 8261 from any in-house telephone, and we will be happy to deliver to you any item in the Gift Shop.
