Widener-Crozer Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
In conjunction with Widener University, Crozer offers a 20-month, full-time, bachelor program in the general concentration for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS or ultrasound). This program is a combination of online, hybrid and seated classes and is considered an advanced-level program, with fast-paced courses and no opportunity to repeat courses. Mimimum grades are required for each prerequisite course and an overall 3.3 GPA is highly recommended. A grade of 3.0 must also be maintained for each course during the 20-month DMS portion of the program. Classes will commence every September and the program goal is to prepare competent, entry-level, general sonographers in the cognitive (knowledge) psychomotor (skills) and affective (behavior) learning domains. The Widener-Crozer Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs upon the recommendation of the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
Applicants will be required to either obtain a bachelor degree through Widener University or enter with a bachelor degree and obtain a post-baccalaureate certificate. The Widener academic advisor will evaluate each student for necessary requirements. All inquiries and applications should be directed to Widener University.
