Crozer Health Recognizes Nine Employees of the Quarter
Crozer Health recently acknowledged nine employees with Employee of the Quarter awards for the 1st Quarter of 2018. Recipients received a framed certificate and a check for $100.
Non-management Crozer Health employees from all hospital sites, outpatient services sites, and Crozer Health Medical Group Offices are eligible for the Employee of the Quarter Award.
The award recognizes those employees who day in and day out serve as a wonderful example for their co-workers in one or more of the following ways:
- Providing High-Quality Patient Care
- Consistently Delivering Outstanding Performance
- Attaining Outstanding Achievement
- Exemplifying the Standards of Performance
- Being a Loyal Employee
Here are the Employees of the Quarter for the first quarter of 2018:

Michael Wiegand, of Glenolden, Pa., is an occupational therapist for the physical medicine and rehabilitation unit at Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Drexel Hill, Pa.
“Mike has consistently provided quality care to patients for over 10 years at DCMH," says a colleague. "He is a role model to all therapists in our department and has been a great mentor to new employees and students. Mike is deeply invested in the well-being of his patients and creates a fun, collaborative environment for our therapy team to work in."

Tanisha Reason, of Philadelphia, Pa., is a technician in the emergency department and intensive care unit at Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park, Pa.
“Tanisha is a strong team player; she jumps from PCS to PCT without hesitating. Tanisha is always pleasant and doesn't complain, even when she might be having a bad day," says a co-worker. "She is a strong asset to both the emergency department and intensive care unit. Tanisha works hard and is great with patient interaction and care.”

“Sheila consistently goes above and beyond for her patients. She never hesitates to question a doctor about concerning orders and advocating for her patients is always Sheila’s top priority," says a colleague. "Sheila leaves every shift knowing that she did everything in her power to keep her patients safe.”

“Stephanie is a phenomenal co-worker," reports a colleague. "She has a huge responsibility with our clients. She completes the assessment and evaluation packets to help clients get in to treatment. Stephanie is compassionate, hardworking and will go above and beyond for her clients and co-workers.”

“Marie has been a loyal Crozer Health employee for 15+ years," says a co-worker. "She recognizes routine, immediate, ongoing concerns and handles them for each patient in a compassionate and efficient manner. Marie seamlessly performs functions of other co-workers; training without being asked and ensuring quality care and support to providers.”

“Rashida has been cooking for us for about a year and a half now. Prior to joining the team at Springfield Hospital, Rashida worked as a medical assistant at Taylor Hospital. Rashida is by far one of the best cooks we’ve ever had in this department, "Says a supervisor. "She is one of the kindest employees in the department. I could not think of an employee more deserving of this award.”
