Crozer Health Welcomes New Women's Health Physicians
The Crozer Health Medical Group is pleased to announce that two new physicians have joined its Crozer Health Women’s Health practices and are accepting new patients.
Reshama Saralkar Navathe, M.D. earned her medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. She completed her fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
As a maternal-fetal medicine specialist, Navathe takes care of expectant mothers who have a higher risk for complications during pregnancy. She aims to help guide these women through the tough times and have a healthy pregnancy. She says that pregnancy complications are unexpected and difficult to deal with in what is supposed to be an otherwise joyous time.
Also new to Crozer Health Women’s Health is Alison C. Rodriguez, M.D., MPH. Rodriguez earned her medical degree at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York, and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
Rodriguez specializes in all aspects of women’s health, from obstetric care to cancer screening to family planning and gynecologic surgery. Rodriguez says she practices based on the idea that medical care is a partnership between the patient and all practitioners involved in the patient’s care. She believes in reviewing all treatment options to ensure that patients are able to make well-informed decisions.
