Crozer Health recently acknowledged two departments with gold banner awards for consistently delivering an outstanding patient care experience.

Award recipients for the 4th Quarter of 2017 (September-November) include the emergency department staffs from Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park, Pa. and Springfield Hospital in Springfield, Pa.

Crozer Health evaluates patient experience through a 19-question patient survey administered at discharge. The survey questions assess nurse communication, physician communication, staff responsiveness, hospital environment, care transition, medication communication, discharge information and pain management.
