Crozer Health Named 2020 Company of the Year

In Recognition of Commitment to Health and Safety During Pandemic

The Delaware County Chamber of Commerce announced that Crozer Health has been named their 2020 Company of the Year.

Criteria the chamber values when reviewing nominations include industry and community leadership, demonstration of creativity and initiative, service to the improvement of quality of life, and participation in service organizations and initiatives. “For decades, Crozer Health has been a long-standing pillar in Delaware County, but recently they have given a new meaning to what ‘community pillar’ means,” said Chamber of Commerce President Trish McFarland. “Over the past year, Crozer Health has renewed their commitment to the county and we are proud to recognize the organization and their employees for the leadership role they have taken to ensure our community is healthy, safe, and has access to high-quality care during these unsettling times.”

In addition to Company of the Year, the chamber is presenting its annual Community Impact Award, Non-Profit of the Year, Economic Impact Award, Young Professional of the Year, and Citizen of the Year. The chamber ordinarily presents these awards at a dinner event with more than 500 local business, non-profit, and government leaders, but will be conducting the awards presentation virtually on the chamber’s YouTube channel. It will be hosted on November 19, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

“I’m accepting this award on behalf of a community that has put a tremendous amount of trust in us this year,” said Crozer Health CEO, Peter Adamo. “And also on behalf of every Crozer Health colleague who had a role in testing, treating, and recovering Delaware County COVID-19 patients who came to us for care. At no time since March when we tested and treated Pennsylvania’s first COVID-19 patient, have we hesitated to embrace our role as frontline care providers.”
