Commenting on the agreement, Matthew Sullivan, ATN’s co-founder and CEO, stated, “We welcome this opportunity to help serve the people of Delaware County and work closely with Crozer Health, as they continue to support the behavioral health needs of the county.” He continued, “As the largest health system in the county, Crozer Health can continue to lead in the fight to help undo the damage caused by the opioid epidemic in the county.
ATN is also announcing that the Delaware County Office of Behavioral Health has expanded ATN’s contact with the county to include assessments as an anchor provider for the citizens of Delaware County. This selection by the county will allow American Treatment Network to provide assessment services to Delaware County residents presenting with both chronic and acute substance use issues.
The new center will be part of the new MOB 1 location and will be staffed 12 hours a day, five days a week. The assessments will include a review of several different therapeutic domains, a suicide assessment, a trauma assessment, a collection of demographic information, and the completion of several releases allowing for post-assessment referrals to be completed. The center will also provide telephonic follow-ups with each referred individual at day 30 to ensure successful service linkage.
