Crozer Health Recognizes ER Nurse Denise Gibbons, RN as a DAISY Award Winner
Denise Gibbons, RN, a nurse in the Emergency Department at Taylor Hospital, was recognized this month as a DAISY Award winner for providing excellent patient care. The DAISY Award is an international program that rewards and celebrates the extraordinary clinical skill and compassionate care given by nurses every day.
“Denise demonstrates endless compassion for her patients and empathy in all she does,” said Christine Murray, Taylor Hospital Chief Nursing Officer. “We are so thankful to have her as part of our Taylor team!”
Denise has worked at Taylor Hospital since 2000 and in the Emergency Room since 2011. As stated in her award nominations submitted by patients, Denise is a prime example of an amazing nurse. She sees the department as a whole and always goes above and beyond to help her patients. She cares deeply for her patients and the work that she does each and every day.
