Crozer Health Recognizes Maternity Ward Nurse Susan Burns, RN as a DAISY Award Winner

Susan Burns, RN, a nurse in the maternity ward at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, was recognized as a DAISY Award winner for providing excellent patient care. The DAISY Award is an international program that rewards and celebrates the extraordinary clinical skill and compassionate care given by nurses every day.

“I’m so proud of Susan for the care she provides to all of her patients, every day,” said Richard Miller, MSN, RN, NE-BC, Senior Administrative Director of Nursing. “I’m thrilled to recognize her with this award.”

The patient said, in their award nomination: “Sue went above and beyond before and after my tubal procedure. Her bubbly, positive energy kept me in great spirits all day. I can’t thank her enough for all of her help making sure my baby and I were comfortable.”
