Graduation Requirements
PURPOSE: To inform the student of all requirements for graduation from the Radiography Program.
POLICY: All students will complete all program requirements prior to being eligible for graduation from the program.
PROCEDURE:
- Students will complete all published academic requirements with a minimum grade of 75%.
- Students will complete all published clinical requirements with a minimum grade of 85%.
- Published academic and clinical requirements are found in the student handbook.
- Students will not have outstanding tuition or fees owed to the school/university.
Students will return all school (CKHS) property including, ID badges, lead markers, radiation badges and holders, etc. Assigned lockers must be cleaned out and combination locks removed, or they will be cut off by facilities services.
Students must fulfill all published academic requirements, including the UCS 200 course, "Becoming a Civically Engaged Professional" with Widener University and/or any other institution articulated with Widener-Crozer Allied Health Program, in order to successfully receive academic credit for the student's specified degree from said university, rendering the student eligible for both graduation and the A.R.R.T. registry examination.
Students who are eligible for graduation and meet the above requirements will receive a certificate of completion in the field of Radiologic Technology, from Crozer-Chester Medical Center. In addition, students will receive their degree from Widener University.
Students from Gwynedd Mercy, Immaculata, and Bloomsburg Universities, who meet the above requirements, and are eligible for graduation, will receive a certificate of completion in the field of Radiologic Technology, from Crozer-Chester Medical Center. All transcripts will be sent to the designated university by Widener, allowing the student to receive their degree. Students are encouraged to walk at graduation from their designated university to receive their degree.
