Widener-Crozer Allied Health Radiologic Technology Program
Crozer Health, located minutes from Philadelphia, is the largest, dominant provider of healthcare in Delaware County. Crozer Health was awarded a NOVA Award by the American Hospital Association for its excellence and innovation in community health.
The health system comprises a total of five hospitals, rendering a full spectrum of services from a network of primary care physicians and specialty practices. These facilities house a level 2 trauma center, a regional burn center, two regional cancer centers affiliated with Fox Chase Cancer Center, a fertility center, sleep disorder centers, wound care centers with hyperbaric medicine, kidney transplant center, advanced heart care services including open heart surgery, sports medicine and rehabilitation services, bariatric surgery program, intensive care nurseries and maternal-fetal medicine, state-of-the-art medical imaging services and much more.
Crozer-Chester Medical Center is the largest of the five hospitals in the Health System and is a renowned regional teaching hospital located in Upland, PA.
Career Outlook
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that job growth for radiologic technologists will grow more quickly than most other occupations through 2020. Approximately 220,000 radiologic technologists were employed throughout hospitals, doctor’s offices, medical and diagnostic laboratories and outpatient facilities.

You can get started on your way to an exciting career in medicine, through the affordable and educational instruction offered by the Widener-Crozer Allied Health Program in Radiologic Technology. The school enrolls between 12-24 students each year during the months of January and July. It is a full-time 24-month course of study. Classes are kept at a 10:1 student-to-teacher ratio for dedicated instruction.
The curriculum follows the guidelines of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists. The school has been awarded an eight-year accreditation and is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) under the guidelines of the U.S. Department of Education. The program dedicated to the field of radiography has more than 60 years of experience.
Applicants are required to complete an Associate degree through Widener University, in conjunction with the core courses offered by the Radiography Program.
