We’re Here Offering Safe Care
Think COVID-19 has made it impossible to talk to a doctor about anything else? Think again. Heart attacks and strokes still happen, accidents still cause injuries, chronic illnesses haven’t disappeared. You and your family still need care, and we’re here for you.
Not only are we here, we’re ready! We know the past few months have been a time of uncertainty. As your day-to-day routines changed to adjust to the new norm, we've adjusted to make an even safer, more sanitary, and more secure environment for you. We all may have to follow new guidelines, and things may look a little bit different, but something that has not changed is our commitment to our patients. Patient safety comes first and there is no need to delay your care anymore. If you need a diagnostic test, or if you just need to talk to your doctor, you can feel confident that we are doing everything we can to keep you safe.
Do you already have a prescription from your doctor to get a test or procedure? If so, call 1-800-254-3258 to schedule your visit. If you don’t have a prescription from your doctor, start by calling the practice for an appointment.
Seeing You in the Comfort of Your Own Home
Although many of our physician practices and outpatient locations are open, there is a possibility that you don’t have to come to us…we’ll come to you. Telemedicine allows you to talk to a physician or advanced practitioner from the comfort, safety, and privacy of your home. We’ll guide you through the process to make sure your visit is successful and all your questions are answered. Talk to your provider’s office for details.
Keeping You Safe in Surgery and during Procedures
There is no need to delay an ambulatory surgery or procedure (mammogram, colonoscopy, lab tests, or walk-in/walk-out surgery) due to COVID-19. We have you covered there as well:
- Testing and Masks – Everyone on the Crozer Health team is screened for symptoms daily and wears protective gear. Staff are also tested for COVID-19, but don’t worry - we’ve got you covered too. We will test you for COVID-19 prior to your procedure and on the day of your procedure. We will give you a mask, take your temperature, and screen you for symptoms to ensure the safety of all of our patients and staff.
- Distancing – We have social distancing practices in place at all locations. In addition, our online waiting rooms allow patients to await their procedures without concern about contact with other patients. If in-person waiting is necessary, waiting rooms have been rearranged to allow patients to wait at safe distances.
- Sanitization – All areas cleaned between each patient use.
At the end of the day, ALL of our locations are comprehensively sanitized.
Keeping You Safe in Our Physician Offices
Need to see your doctor, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner, but concerned about COVID? Don’t hesitate. Here’s what we’re doing to make sure you can visit us safely:
- Screening and Masks – Everyone on the Crozer Health team is screened for symptoms daily and wears protective gear, and we’ve got you covered, too. You’ll be given a face mask, we’ll take your temperature, we’ll screen you for symptoms, and ask you to use hand sanitizer or wash your hands.
- Distancing
- We practice safe distancing, we spread out our appointments, we limit contact during your visit, and thoroughly clean exam rooms between each patient.
- You will be roomed immediately upon entering the office and your check-in will take place in the disinfected exam room. In the rare scenario where you might have to wait in the lobby, we have limited seating and spaced out our waiting rooms to practice proper social distancing.
- All follow up needs are completed in the exam room. This limits interactions with others and allows you to leave the office straight from the exam room without having to make an additional stop.
- Sanitization – We sanitize all surfaces between patients. At the end of the day, all of our locations are comprehensively sanitized.
- Telemedicine – There is also the possibility that you won’t have to come to us…we’ll come to you. Telemedicine allows you to talk to a physician or advanced practitioner from the comfort, safety, and privacy of your home. We’ll guide you through the process to make sure your visit is successful and all your questions are answered. For more information about telemedicine, call your practice.
At the end of the day, ALL of our locations are comprehensively sanitized.
