Rose Tree Medical Associates Joins Crozer Health Medical Group
The primary care providers of Rose Tree Medical Associates (RTMA) have joined the Crozer Health Medical Group and are accepting new patients. The practice comprises eight board-certified physicians and seven nurse practitioners committed to delivering comprehensive patient care and preventive services.
The clinicians understand that patients’ needs are unique and individualized, and in response offer many services to make the experience as comfortable and convenient as possible – including same-day urgent appointments, nursing home visits, and house calls. In fact, Michael Shank, D.O., co-founder of RTMA, has administered to his homebound patients’ medical needs on nights and weekends for the last 35 years.
RTMA’s providers are trained to take care of all family members (ages 16 and up) and offer a wide range of clinical services – including management of chronic diseases such as diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure, and specialized geriatric care. The practice is certified by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as a Patient-Centered Medical Home, which means it has met the highest national standards for patient care.
Providers in the practice include:
- Michael Shank, D.O. – Dr. Shank earned his osteopathic medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). He is board-certified in family medicine and geriatrics.
- Joseph Hope, D.O. – Dr. Hope earned his osteopathic medical degree from PCOM and is board-certified in internal medicine.
- Michelle Boornazian, D.O. – Dr. Boornazian earned her osteopathic medical degree from PCOM and is board-certified in family medicine, geriatrics and palliative medicine.
- Armen Sevag, D.O. – Dr. Sevag earned his osteopathic medical degree from PCOM and is board-certified in internal medicine.
- Aaron Best, D.O. – Dr. Best earned his osteopathic medical degree from PCOM and is board-certified in internal medicine.
- Timothy Patterson, D.O. – Dr. Patterson earned his osteopathic medical degree from PCOM and is board-certified in internal medicine.
- Dorothy Jenkins, M.D. – Dr. Jenkins earned her medical degree from University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. She is board-certified in internal medicine.
- Susan Littman, M.D. – Dr. Littman earned her medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. She is board-certified in internal medicine.
The physicians are assisted by certified nurse practitioners Trish Callow, Stephanie Hoenig, Maureen Lubas, Leni Mampallil, Kerry Schaefer, Karen Smith and Rosalie Stio.
