Crozer Health Recognizes Jodi O’Neill, R.N., as DAISY® Award Recipient
Delaware County Memorial Hospital ER nurse Jodi O’Neill received the coveted DAISY Award this month after being nominated by a patient’s sister. Jodi’s patient was brought to DCMH’s ER by ambulance, and was a challenging case. The patient’s sister was impressed and grateful for Jodi’s attention to her brother.
Her nomination read: “I have never seen such dedication, attention to detail, kindness, and compassion as I witnessed as Jodi took care of my brother. The unbelievable care she gave my brother was beyond great. Jodi is a dedicated nurse, she was innovative in the care she gave a terribly frightened, mentally challenged man, and she knew just what needed to be done. I am so grateful that Jodi was my brother’s nurse. She is an amazing, generous, brilliant asset to Crozer Health.”
We agree, and we too are grateful that Jodi is on our team! Before her time in DCMH’s ER, Jodi worked with Director of Nursing Allison Monaghan on 5 Central, so both Allison and ER Clinical Nurse Director Christina Cavanaugh presented Jodi with the Daisy Award.
